Nimo Hassan
Nimo Hassan is a passionate advocate for community wellness and a proud Community Resource Navigator at the Washington West African Center (WAWAC). With roots in immigrant experiences and a heart for justice, she helps people navigate the complicated systems from healthcare to housing with empathy, cultural respect, and compassion.
She earned her Bachelor’s in Health Studies with a Human Rights minor from UW Bothell, where she grew her passion for public health and equity. Nimo doesn’t just offer resources she offers presence, support, and a belief that everyone deserves dignity. Outside of work, Nimo enjoys art, reading, and spending time in nature.
