Amie Secka is a proficient and empathetic professional who serves as the finance and administrative assistant of WAWAC. She has a background in nursing and customer service and a strong dedication to assisting others. Amie obtained her degree from Gambia College School of Nursing and Midwifery as a state registered nurse and relocated to the United States, where she acquired valuable experience as a customer service representative at Staples. She took a break from work to raise her family and then continued her career as a Lead Direct Support Staff at Alpha Supported Living Services in Kirkland, where she delivered care and support for people with developmental disabilities for five years. When the covid pandemic struck, she decided to stay at home and join WAWAC as a founding member, contributing to its vision and mission with her skills and expertise.
