RESEARCH STUDIES & SURVEYS
Because there was no baseline data about our community’s needs, challenges, demographic composition to support our work, WAWAC made it a top priority to partner with different schools at UW to conduct research studies on different subject matters. Thus, in 2023, we partnered with the School of Public Health at the University of Washington Seattle to conduct a research study about the existence of Domestic Violence as well as the Mental Health Status of the West African community in Washington State. See below for all research studies and surveys
